Raaye ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by HELIOSOFT LTD, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our iOS mobile application available on the Apple App Store. By using Raaye, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not consent, please do not use our app.

This policy applies specifically to the iOS version of Raaye and reflects Apple's App Store privacy guidelines and requirements.

2. Information We Collect

To provide AI content creation and scheduling, we collect the following categories of information:

a. Information You Provide Directly

• Account Details: Name, email address, and professional goals.
• User Prompts and Inputs: Any text, ideas, or rough thoughts you enter into the AI content creation module.
• Persona Preferences: Desired tone, industry, target audience, and posting frequency.

b. Information from Third-Party Services (LinkedIn)

If you choose to import your LinkedIn profile, we access the following via official APIs:

• Professional Profile: Name, headline, current and previous roles, skills, summary/about section, and industry.
• Feed Information: Content from your LinkedIn feed to generate summaries and suggested engagement actions, such as comments and likes.
• Engagement Metrics: Data regarding how your posts perform, including reach, likes, and comments, to provide analytics.

c. AI-Generated Data

• User Persona Model: An internal profile built from your data to ensure AI outputs match your professional voice.
• Content Drafts: AI-generated LinkedIn posts and suggested comments.

d. Automatically Collected Data

• Device Information: Device model, iOS version, and language settings.
• App Usage Data: Interaction data collected via Firebase Analytics and Amplitude.
• Crash Reports: Logs collected by Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Personalization: To create a persona engine that generates content aligned with your professional identity.
• Service Delivery: To generate post variations, provide AI editing tools, and manage your content calendar.
• Engagement Assistance: To surface relevant trends and suggest contextual comments for your feed.
• Analytics: To provide insights into post-performance and refine future content strategies.
• AI Improvement: We may use anonymized, de-identified interaction signals — such as whether a draft was accepted or edited — to fine-tune our models, unless you opt out.
• Notifications: To send reminders, post status updates, and account alerts via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
• App Improvement: To analyze trends, improve features, and fix bugs.

4. App Permissions

Raaye requests the following iOS system permissions. Each permission is requested only when you first attempt to use the relevant feature.

• Camera (NSCameraUsageDescription): To capture photos within the post editor for use in LinkedIn posts.
• Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): To select images from your Photos library for LinkedIn posts.
• Notifications (UNUserNotificationCenter): To send alerts for scheduled posts, reminders, and account updates via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

You may revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your iPhone or iPad. Revoking a permission may limit certain features.

5. Data Storage and Security

a. Where Your Data Lives

• Cloud Sync: Drafts, scheduled posts, analytics, and preferences are stored on secure backend servers.
• Local Storage: Data cached on-device is stored using encrypted iOS APIs (Keychain and encrypted Core Data / SwiftData stores) for offline access.

b. Security Measures

• Encryption in Transit: All network communication uses TLS/SSL (HTTPS), enforced via iOS App Transport Security (ATS).
• Access Control: Backend access is restricted using JWT authentication.
• Token Safety: LinkedIn OAuth tokens are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain with appropriate access controls.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With AI model providers (for text generation) and cloud hosting services. These partners are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• LinkedIn Integration: Data is shared back with LinkedIn only when you explicitly choose to publish a post or comment.
• Apple: Crash reports may be shared with Apple through standard iOS diagnostic features if you have enabled this on your device, subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention Period: We retain your professional persona data and generation history for as long as your account is active to maintain your consistent voice.
• User-Initiated Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the App Settings. Upon deletion, your personal profile data and persona model will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days. We will delete all drafts, posts, analytics, tokens, and local session data upon account deletion.
• Account Deletion via App (Apple Requirement): In accordance with Apple App Store guidelines, account deletion is available directly within the app under Settings → Delete Account. You do not need to contact us or visit a website to delete your account.
• LinkedIn Data: We do not store a permanent copy of your LinkedIn feed. Feed summaries are cached temporarily to provide Today's Feed insights and are refreshed afterwards.
• Irreversibility: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. AI Processing and Third Parties

a. How AI Works

When you generate content, your prompt and relevant persona data are securely sent to our backend. We may use trusted third-party AI providers to process the request and return the generated output to the app.

b. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data only with trusted services required to operate the app. We do not sell your data.

9. AI Transparency and Reporting

a. In-App Reporting

Raaye provides built-in mechanisms to report offensive or inappropriate AI-generated content directly to our team for review.

b. Human-in-the-Loop

Users are encouraged to review all AI-generated content, as the human remains the final decision-maker for all professional publications.

10. Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can update your persona or profile information at any time within the app.
• Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of having your anonymized interaction signals used for AI refinement.
• California Privacy Rights: Under CCPA, California residents can request a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information for marketing purposes. We do not sell your data.

11. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. Raaye is not directed at children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.

Raaye's App Store age rating is 17+ in accordance with its professional and social networking use-case.
